Having juvenile / Type I insulin-dependent diabetes, Mr. Spolter is aware there are many medical conditions which can confuse well meaning police officers into believing that motorists are drunk or impaired by drugs. Mr. Spolter also explains which common vehicle defects can wrongly lead a police officer to suspect drivers are DUI, when their non-perfect driving patterns are the fault of mechanical failure.
